We are delighted to announce an exciting new twist on the World of Words programme at WOMAD 2024. This year the World of Words stage will be presented by independent, investigative newspaper Byline Times.
Byline Times will bring names from the world of literature, politics, and comedy to WOMAD Festival. There will be live podcast recordings, panel discussions, and author sessions, as well as journalists, writers and comedians, an ex-spy, a member of the House of Lords, and lots more.
A vibrant area in the arboretum, home of the World of Words stage, Hip Yak Poetry Shack, giant crosswords and Mr B's Bookshop.
Nestled in the shade of the arboretum, this year's World of Words stage is presented by Byline Times. It's the place to sit down, relax and enjoy fascinating talks, interesting debates, inspirational authors, and much more.
